WCG’s Wholesale Preselection Service is a voice service that allows you to supply preselected access into the market without the infrastructure requirements of a network. The Wholesale Voice Preselection Service is the supply of a voice carriage service using a preselect code defining which carrier the end user chooses to use that is programmed into the network and thus no override code is required.
The Wholesale Voice Preselection Service allows your end users to have access to a voice carriage service using preselection that connects the call to the WCG or third party supplier network for termination.  WCG or the third party network supplier will carry long distance calls, calls to mobiles and international calls made using preselection.

• The Preselection Service will not permit carriage of untimed or timed local calls or calls to;
  • Directory/operator services (12),
  • Freephone services (18),
  • Local rate services (13),
  • Premium rate services (19),
  • Data access services (0198),
  • Satellite mobile services (014),
  • Calling card services (189),
  • Paging services (016),
  • VPN services (188), and
  • UPT services (05).
  • These calls will be carried via you or your end user’s current service provider.
